Welcome to the Seven Stars
FOOD SERVED ALL DAY FROM 12PM We are a 400 year old coaching inn that has been rescued from closure and possible redevelopment by the local community. In November 2012 the doors closed once again for the fourth time in 10 years to the locals and set the ball rolling onto how the pub looks today. A committee was formed, shares bought and the doors of the pub reopened once again on March 30th 2013. Since this date they have also redeveloped an existing barn into a restaurant and enlarged the kitchen and modernised its equipment to cope with demand. Due next in early 2015 are new toilets to help continue to breath new life into this beautiful green-side village pub and also the possibility of a children’s playground.
We welcome all to come and try our British pub inspired Food Menu and our head chef adds a few excellent specials for every service and a range of steaks to try on our weekly Tuesday steak night.
Try our well kept Ales, including a large range of local ales and our inspired wine and spirit selection.
Dogs are welcome too and don’t worry if you have wellies or walking boots on, we are a country pub after all! During the winter months enjoy our cosy fire, always on to keep away the cold and during the month of December tuck into our homemade Mulled Wine. Our large garden is perfect to while away the great weather in the summer months and we have various garden games for big and little kids!
